What CarPlay and Android Auto are
If you are hearing these words for the first time, here is a short explanation without technical jargon.
Apple CarPlay
A system built by Apple that moves your iPhone onto the car screen. Maps, music, calls and messages appear on a large display with big buttons — so you do not have to look at your phone while driving.
You control it with the screen, the steering wheel buttons or your voice through Siri. Your phone can stay in your pocket.
Android Auto
The same thing, but for Android phones — Samsung, Google Pixel, Xiaomi and others. Google Maps, Waze, Spotify and messages on the car screen.
You control it with the screen, the steering wheel buttons or your voice through "Hey Google". It works just as conveniently as CarPlay.
Our module supports both — whichever phone you have. When you get in, it recognises what is connecting and starts the right system by itself.
